2. MATERIALS TESTING & FAILURE ANALYSIS of METALLIC MATERIALS
The training course, “Materials Testing & Failure Analysis of Metallic Materials,” was completed at the Center of Excellence for Research in Engineering Materials (CEREM), King Saud University. 1. CORROSION MEASUREMENT AND CONTROL
The Center of Excellence for Research in Engineering Materials (CEREM), King Saud University, successfully conducted its specialized training course titled “Corrosion Measurement and Control” on 22–23 October 2025 at the College of Engineering.
This two-day course, delivered by Prof. El-Sayed M. Sherif, provided participants with an in-depth understanding of corrosion fundamentals, measurement techniques, monitoring strategies, and industrial control methods. 2. Training Course on Processing of High-Strength Aluminum Alloys through Conventional Casting and Powder Metallurgy
The Training Course on Electrospun Nanofiber Membranes (NFMs): Advanced Biomedical, Environmental, and Energy Applications enabled participants to gain hands-on experience in manufacturing NFMs and electrospinning processes. Through rigorous training, they successfully developed customized electrospun NFMs by optimizing key parameters and enhancing their structural and functional properties. Additionally, participants mastered the meticulous and advanced application of NFMs in biomedical, environmental, and energy domains, equipping them with the necessary expertise to drive innovation in these critical fields.
