Sustainability Exhibition (6–7 May 2026)
CEREM participates in the Circular Economy and Sustainable Resources Exhibition at King Saud University.

The Center of Excellence for Research in Engineering Materials (CEREM) at King Saud University participated in the Circular Economy and Sustainable Resources Exhibition, organized by the SPE King Saud University Student Chapter at the College of Engineering, during Environment Week activities held on May 6–7, 2026.
CEREM’s participation shows that the center is actively working to advance research and innovation in sustainable engineering materials, circular economy technologies, advanced energy storage systems, and protective nanofiber coating technologies for defense applications. The exhibition aimed to promote environmental awareness and showcase scientific initiatives that support sustainable development and efficient resource utilization.
By participating, CEREM showed its ongoing research in sustainable materials, protective coatings, and future energy solutions, and it reinforced its commitment to research excellence and community engagement in engineering and environmental sustainability.
Dr. Ibrahim A. Alnaser, Director of CEREM, emphasized the importance of such scientific and community engagement activities in strengthening collaboration between academia, industry, and students. He noted that participation in sustainability-focused exhibitions provides an excellent platform to showcase innovative research and inspire future advancements in engineering materials and clean energy technologies.
